During the 2024 MTN 30 Days of Yellow Care, themed “Learn Today, Lead Tomorrow,” Npontu proudly stood as a partner alongside MTN. Our Chief Marketing and Operations Officer (CMOO) represented Npontu, demonstrating our unwavering support for the Yellow T e a m – a commitment we’ve consistently upheld in previous Yellow Care initiatives. The purpose of this year’s Yellow Care campaign as communicated by MTN is: to provide crucial digital learning resources, reliable internet access, and engaging educational platforms to students and educators in underserved areas. Npontu not only lent its presence but also contributed educational tools to further this cause.
ON-THE-GROUND ENGAGEMENT
Beyond the campaign launch, Npontu’s staff engaged with MTN’s volunteer activities in Sunyani, taking their support directly to the field. Visiting schools in Suyani including Kintampo Senior High School, Bechem Presbyterian Senior High School, and St. Francis Seminary-we provided technology training to students. They learned about the foundational principles of Al, its practical use cases, and its current impact. Our challenge to them was not only to utilize existing services but also to innovate using the available tools and resources.
